Welcome to the chainsaw milling website

This website has been created principally to disseminate results from the DFID-funded project "Assessment of the potential of chainsaw milling for improving rural livelihoods", and to act as a central focus for obtaining information on chainsaw milling attachments, their current and potential use. Project publications (listed on the left of this page) are available for downloading as pdf files, along with other miscellaneous documents, links and further information. Others will be added over time to create a complete chainsaw milling library. Users of this site who wish to add links, files, news or events should contact the website coordinator Nick Pasiecznik (npasiecznik@wanadoo.fr). The manual and posters are also available in French, and Spanish translations are expected shortly.
